How to Install magic software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

magic software package provides VLSI layout tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install magic

magic is installed in your system.

Make ensure the magic package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep magic *

You will get with magic package name, version, architecture and description in a table
